Behind the Photo: The White Cliffs of Dover

Some photographs are about the place where you took them. Others are about everything you brought with you when you got there. For me, this photograph of the White Cliffs of Dover is deeply personal, connecting me to my grandparents, my childhood, World War II history and the music I grew up hearing.
